Sergio Ramos, the Spanish defender, does not participate in the Paris Saint-Germain call for the friendly match in Orleans between German Augsburg and Spanish.

Mauricio Pochettino, the Argentine coach has decided not to include him in this third preseason match. This is after two behind-closed doors matches against Le Mans (4-0), and Chambly (3-3), which were both considered training sessions.

It is already a serious match against Augsburg, but the coach won’t be able count on two of his signings for the year, the Dutch Wijnaldum (from the Netherlands) and the Italian goal Donnarumma (from Italy), who have yet to join the team following the European Championship.

Ramos, who is 35 years old, has trained with his teammates but the coach has determined that his physical condition is not sufficient to add him to the list. He has also applied prudence considering the many injuries he sustained last season.

The Spanish Ander Herrera and the Moroccan Achraf Haimi, who have just returned from training after being tested positive for covid, don’t travel to Orleans.
